Josey Records is a record store located in Dallas, that was established in 2014. The Pair of founders share a deep passion for music and community, and routinely express this through live and promotional events. Their website does not currently have that same reflection.
JOSEY RECORDS
Currently the Josey Records website isn’t that bad from a visual stand point. The problems lie in how you navigate the site, as well as visual interest. It doesn’t properly voice Josey as a brand, as well as engage their audience as well as they do in stores. Simplifying, creating a brand identity, and community is the mission for this redesign.heir personality as well as thier persona.
CURRENT STATE
My redesign streamlines the main navigation, as well as providing the user with tailored suggestions. The community allows users to build their wishlists in an engaging way and keeps them updated on events near them. Synthwave and textured patterns to evoke the feeling of sound, creating the visual language.
